Slavery: Forgotten Part of History

Intro:
This is my sensation, my revelation
About the invasion of caucasian, into Africa’s nation
The cause of segregation
Between the races, the different coloured faces
So, lets begin the narration
Live and direct with first class presentation

Yeah, yeah…

Your race just got erased, defaced, replaced
Uh, uh, just misplaced
So you have to find the roots
The fruits of your past
By writing this we might get harassed
But why not let the truth come out at last…

For 400 hundred years they came for our people
They took away our regal
The black continent, the motherland
Taught by the man, they call minister Farrakhan
With their evil appetite they reap and pillage
They think they’re right, burning village by village
Enslaved them in chains, incarcerated
Like my brother Sinquay in Amistad
Took whomever they pleased with their evil greed
One sin out of the seven
Then they call themselves Christian
A life of hell while they get heaven
Weak and starved they sailed them across the seas
Why they making life long enemies
Believe me, we will rise up against the thieves
One day they will pay for their evil deeds

Chorus:
In Africa, since the day of my birth
I never thought I’d be told how much my life was worth...

The future whites get amnesia
Cause they forgot to teach ya
So listen to the preacher
(x2)

You bring us here, the stars and stripes are near
My eyes are filled with fear
We are powerless
To stop your so called business
But the crookedness is clear
As a slave, you say we better behave
But I’m enraged, because I’m caged
Even now, we get harassed by the hooded masks
Serial killers become legal
Triple K roams in the heart of the eagle
The black attempts are feeble
Why all the killing of innocent people?
You can’t silence with violence
That’s what you’ve done throughout the ages
Its all here in the history pages
This racist cancer is contagious
Outrageous, but we have to be courageous
We must strive, to survive
Trying to stay alive, since the day we arrived
Even the cops aren’t on our side
But by their rules we must abide
Like black panthers we strike
Day and night
Never going to give up the fight
In the urban jungle
There is no progress without struggle

Chorus:
In Africa, since the day of my birth
I never thought I’d be told how much my life was worth
My homeland, with a family to cherish
Why can’t you understand? I don’t want to perish
Hell no, don’t take me away
Please, why do I have to pay?
Humans V Humans, that’s the sad case today
Oppressed by society
Sold like property
Its called slavery
Forgotten part of history
(x2)
